Partnership with Code Academy Oman to Empower AI Education
A high-profile delegation from Oman, including HE Ambassador Ms. Maitha Al Mahrouqi, non-resident Ambassador of Oman to Finland and HE Anu-Eerika Viljanen, non-resident Ambassador of Finland to Oman, meeting Education Finland member companies at the National Agency for Education in Helsinki, Finland in October 2024.
We are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership between Code School Finland and Code Academy Oman to advance AI education in Oman and strengthen collaboration between Finland and Oman. This initiative aims to equip students and educators with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the AI-driven future.
A Foundation of Educational Cooperation
This partnership builds upon the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on October 8, 2023, between Oman’s Ministry of Education and Finland’s Ministry of Education and Culture. This MoU underscores a mutual commitment to enhance educational cooperation, focusing on areas such as professional development for educators, curriculum development, and the integration of information technology in teaching. The agreement also emphasizes fostering strong connections among families, schools, and communities, as well as nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among students.
Empowering the Next Generation with AI
Artificial Intelligence is transforming industries worldwide, and through this collaboration, we will combine Finland’s expertise in AI education with Oman’s growing focus on digital innovation. By co-developing an AI education program tailored to Omani students, we aim to make AI concepts accessible, practical, and impactful.
