Learn embedded systems and programming in the context of robotics.
Automate + is an introductory course for beginner programmers about robotics. Students learn basic concepts in automation and study components of embedded systems such as sensors, processors, and actuators.
Students design and build sensor-activated access control alarms, combine mechanics with programming, and program intelligent robots. The final projects are a joint implementation of a security system for an interactive treasure hunt game and programming own intelligent robot.
This course can be completed with either Micro:bit kits (recommended) or Lego Mindstorms EV3 kit.
Specific material kits have to be acquired to complete this course. Code School Finland helps with the material acquisition.
