Learn about product development and game design while creating your own learning games and interactive apps.
Students rehearse previous and learn new important programming concepts and practices while planning and implementing an educational game for younger students. Students test their games with a target group and get feedback on product development. Students get more practice in basic concepts such as objects, loops, conditional statements and variables, and how to make programs live with sounds and animations in Scratch.
On the course students are introduced to randomness, coordinates, nested structures and the use of variables. Students learn good programming practices and ways to organize code within a program.
Basic Education

In Develop and Test+ for after school, students rehearse basics and learn new important programming concepts and practices while planning and implementing an educational game for younger students.
This extended version includes additional programming challenges where students use previously learnt concepts with functions to solve real world problems.
