Easy coding project: Season’s greeting card

December 4, 2020, Sirkku Tahvanainen

Here’s a fun class for practicing programming skills while preparing for the holiday season. It suits primary and middle school students. You will learn how to code an animated greeting card to be sent digitally to friends and family.

It’s easy to learn programming with Scratch, the world’s most used visual coding environment. It is a perfect tool for interactive stories, games, and animations. Coding with Scratch helps to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Read more on how to teach 21st century skills here.

Below you will find the detailed instructions to run the class.
