Teacher’s perspective on using our teaching materials

Case details

Mr. Ito and his teacher team at the Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior and Senior High School in Tokyo, Japan, use CSF teaching materials to teach secondary school students about automation and robotics.

Students work on the project by themselves with minimal instructions from the teachers. The materials make it possible for the students to learn by doing through the well-designed creative project.

Over 90% of consider learning with CSF materials interesting and fun. 80% said that the best part was the project. Through the project, they learned not only coding, but also the importance of working with others.

About the school

Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior and Senior high school is located in Shiga, Japan. The school has been designated as a Super Science High School (SSH) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan since 2006. The school aims to foster global citizens in the 21st century through integrated study programs that emphasize science and technology.
