Code School Finland works together with Edunova to bring coding education to the disadvantaged communities of South Africa.
We are working in South Africa to prepare children for a future where we don’t even know what careers still exist. We aim to instill an attitude for life-long learning with pedagogial approach that supports the development of the 4Cs – creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.
In preparation for the nationwide roll-out plan of coding & robotics announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa and the department of basic education, forward-looking schools are already running coding courses in classrooms.
Our first teacher training program starts this week in South Africa with participants from 4 schools both in the Eastern and Western Cape districts.
